One-on-one, expert manual therapy led by Ronit Sukenick, PT, DPT, PRPC. We welcome anyone who needs our help and can travel to our area—most of our clients come from Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, Hastings-on-Hudson, and Tarrytown, NY.
Whether you are healing from surgery, an injury, an illness, childbirth, or managing chronic pain, our collaborative approach to patient care ensures your treatment plan aligns with your individual goals and preferences. We work with each patient individually to create a program that will support and restore healthy pelvic function so you can get back to your favorite activities, without pain or restriction.
The pelvic floor muscles hang like a hammock from the end of the tailbone to the pubic bone and span from one hip to the other. This muscle group serves many roles in the body, from supporting the function of organs such as the bowels and bladder to providing stability for your back and hips, as well as supporting sexual function.
Foundations Physical Therapy moves beyond the high-volume clinic model to provide personalized, one-on-one care. As a Board Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner, Dr. Ronit Sukenick treats complex conditions ranging from chronic pelvic pain and postpartum diastasis recti to orthopedic dysfunction. We are the trusted resource for holistic recovery in Westchester County, specifically serving the Rivertowns communities.
We take great pride in creating a network of vetted resources for our clients. Here, you will discover your physical therapist’s favorite equipment, books, products, and articles.

Yes. We offer services tailored to women and men.
We provide pelvic floor care for patients of all genders and are one of the few specialty clinics in the greater Westchester area offering this level of support. All sessions are one-on-one and tailored to the individual.
We are currently accepting new patients. Schedule online or call 914-768-3802 to book your first consultation. Our goal is to see you as soon as possible, often within a week, so you can start feeling relief sooner.
To provide the level of care our patients need, and the results we’re known for, Foundations Physical Therapy does not participate with any insurance plans. All visits are full, one-on-one, hour-long sessions tailored to the individual. An insurance-driven model would not allow for this depth of care.
We do accept Medicare as a non-participating provider, which means payment is due at the time of service and reimbursement is sent directly to the patient by Medicare. For information on why we don’t accept insurance, read our blog post about it.
If you have out-of-network benefits, we’re happy to verify your coverage and submit claims on your behalf as a courtesy to our patients.
